Getting started
How to register
-
Get in touch
Call us on 0116 236 2534 or use our online booking form. Tell us you're a new patient and whether you'd like NHS or private care.
-
Book your first appointment
We'll arrange a convenient time for a new patient check-up. This usually takes around 30–40 minutes and includes an examination, X-rays if needed, and a chat about your dental health goals.
-
Attend and meet the team
Arrive a few minutes early to complete a short medical history form. Our friendly reception team will welcome you and make sure you feel comfortable before you see the dentist.
Your first visit
What to bring
- A list of any medicines you're taking (or the packets themselves)
- Details of any allergies, medical conditions, or recent hospital treatment
- Your NHS exemption certificate or evidence of entitlement (if applicable)

NHS treatment charges

- Band 1 £27.90
Check-up, diagnosis, X-rays, scale & polish
- Band 2 £76.60
Fillings, extractions, root canal
- Band 3 £332.10
Crowns, dentures, bridges
Charges effective April 2026. Set by NHS England and reviewed annually. Some patients are exempt — ask at reception or visit nhs.uk for details.
Your first appointment
What to expect
Your first appointment is a chance for us to get to know you and understand your dental history. The dentist will carry out a thorough examination of your teeth, gums, and soft tissues, and may take X-rays to get a complete picture of your oral health.
We'll talk through anything we find in plain English and work with you to agree a treatment plan that fits your needs and budget. There's no pressure — we want you to feel informed and in control at every step.
If you're nervous about visiting the dentist, please let us know when you book. Our team is experienced in helping anxious patients feel at ease, and we'll do everything we can to make your visit comfortable. Read our nervous patients guide →
